Parents can choose to either:

• Pay for a School Meal (£2.40 per day - must be paid in advance).
• Apply to receive a Free School Meal
• Provide their child with a Packed Lunch - see our healthy lunchbox guide here
• Take their child home for lunch – we do not encourage this option as it will disrupt your child’s school day and could cause confusion.  Eating and socialising at lunchtime is an important part of the school day.

All children in Reception and Key Stage One (Years 1 and 2) will receive a free school meal.  Some families are eligible to receive free school meals anyway and we would like to help ensure that all of our eligible children receive their full entitlements.

If you are not already in receipt of free school meals please complete a Free School Meal application online at https://www.newcastlelea.org/CitizenPortal_LIVE/en(or a paper copy is available from our school office).
It costs you nothing to apply and you might be both better off as a result and help secure additional funding for our school.

All meals are prepared freshly every day in school by our team of canny cooks.

We operate a three weekly rotating menu, updated every term. Please give us a call if you are not sure which week (1, 2 or 3) we are on!
