This week, Year 4 went on an investigative mathematics and science visit to Jesmond Dene.
The children had a fantastic time estimating and measuring the height, girth and spread of the trees in the Dene. They used different types of equipment and used the natural environment to explore maths. We also had a walk around the park where the children could explore their surroundings.
As always, the children's behaviour and attitude were exemplary and they were a real credit to our community and academy.
Well done, Year 4!
